My Green Aventurine Snake: A Meditation Journey with Baphomet Energy

So I’ve been working with this green aventurine snake statuette during my meditation sessions lately, and it’s become like THE perfect focal point for connecting with Baphomet energies! I know that might sound like an unusual pairing to some people, but honestly the combination has been incredibly powerful for my kundalini practice and overall energy work.

Why Green Aventurine Though?

Green aventurine has always been one of those stones that just works for me. If you’re not familiar with it, green aventurine is a form of quartz with these little inclusions that give it a shimmery, kind of sparkly appearance. It’s traditionally associated with prosperity and opportunity (which is nice and all), but what I’ve found SUPER interesting is how well it works for heart chakra healing and creating a sense of well-being.

The snake form is particularly significant because snakes represent transformation in so many traditions. They shed their skin and emerge renewed – which is kinda exactly what meditation and energy work is all about, right? The serpentine energy also aligns perfectly with kundalini practices, since kundalini itself is often visualized as a coiled snake at the base of the spine.

My Meditation Setup

I keep things pretty simple, to be honest. I set up my space with just a few elements – my snake statuette positioned about arm’s length away, maybe a candle (usually green to complement the aventurine energy), and sometimes a bit of incense if I’m feeling fancy. Nothing too complicated.

When I begin my kundalini activation, I focus first on my breathing. Deep, slow breaths while visualizing energy moving from the base of my spine upward. The snake statuette helps me maintain that visualization – I actually look at it and imagine that same serpentine movement happening inside me.

Working with Baphomet

OK so this is where it gets interesting! I only started working with Baphomet relatively recently, and I know there’s a lot of misunderstanding about this entity. Historically, Baphomet was depicted as a symbolic figure representing balance and the union of opposites – not the “devil” figure that got popularized in later centuries. The famous Eliphas Levi illustration shows Baphomet as both masculine and feminine, human and animal, with elements of all classical elements.

In my personal practice, I connect more with the feminine aspects of Baphomet. That’s just what resonates with me! I see her as an embodiment of wisdom that transcends binary thinking – she contains multitudes, ya know?

What I LOVE about working with Baphomet is the surprising humor and wit that comes through. She doesn’t take herself too seriously, which is refreshing when you’re doing “serious spiritual work” (lol). The communication happens less through words and more through sensations, impressions, and those weird synchronicities that keep popping up afterward.

My Meditation Process Step by Step

If you’re curious about trying something similar, here’s my basic approach:

  1. I set up my space and sit comfortably with the aventurine snake in view
  2. Begin with grounding breaths, focusing on the root chakra
  3. Gradually work my energy upward through each chakra
  4. When I reach the third eye, I focus directly on the green snake statuette
  5. I invite Baphomet energy to join the meditation (always with respect!)
  6. Then I just… listen. Feel. Be open to whatever comes through

The green color of the aventurine actually helps maintain heart chakra openness during the process, which I find makes the communication clearer. Sometimes I’ll feel a distinct cooling sensation when the connection is particularly strong, or I’ll get these random thoughts that definitely don’t feel like my own.

I’ve noticed that on days when I’m trying too hard or coming in with specific expectations, the meditation is less effective. It’s like trying to force… wait, what was I going to say? I think it’s something about how Baphomet doesn’t respond well to demands. Anyway, the point is that approaching with curiosity works WAY better than coming with demands.

What I’ve Gotten From This Practice

Since starting this practice, I’ve noticed some pretty significant shifts in how I perceive challenges. There’s this sense of humor that comes through that helps me take things less seriously. Plus my dreams have gotten WILD – like, super symbolic and vivid in a way they weren’t before.

The kundalini activation has also helped with physical tension I didn’t even realize I was carrying. My shoulders and back feel lighter somehow? It’s hard to explain but definitely noticeable.

Baphomet communication tends to have this playful quality – like leaving breadcrumbs for you to follow rather than giving direct answers. I’ll suddenly notice snake imagery everywhere, or the color green will show up in unexpected places. Little winks from the universe that feel like inside jokes between me and this ancient energy.

Wrapping Up

So that’s my current meditation practice with my green aventurine snake and Baphomet energy! I’m still figuring it all out, for sure. I wouldn’t call myself an expert by ANY means, just someone exploring and documenting the journey.

If you work with stones or interesting entities in your meditation, I’d love to hear about it! Maybe I’ll write more about specific synchronicities next time, or dive deeper into the chakra work aspect.

Until then, happy meditating!
