Using the table above, consider what you might need to focus on in your life.

Are you at a time where you need to grow your wealth or build courage to do something scary but important?

The waxing moon is the perfect time for you to do those spells.

When the moon is waxing, the energy of the whole world is focused on growth.

Growth of courage, of money, of love. Everything in the world is tuned into that energy.

Do You Have To Match Your Spells To The Phases Of The Moon?

Nope! Thankfully, you can do whatever magick you want, when you want.

The only difference is that working with the moon makes your magick more powerful.

But if you need to banish negative energy during the waxing moon, you’ll be swimming against the energetic tide.

That’s fine, but I would suggest repeating the spell during the waning moon, especially if you didn’t see the results you wanted.

Whenever possible, though, I would recommend working while in tune with the moon.

That celestial body can lend so much power to your witchcraft if you let it.

What Is The Best Moon Phase For Love Spells?

If you are already in a new relationship, but you want it to heat up, do a love spell at the full moon.

However, if you’re looking to find a new relationship, you are better off doing a spell at the new moon.

If you are going through a trying time in your relationship, or trying to get back with an ex, do your spell during the waxing moon.

Finally, if you want to kick a toxic person out of your life (or simply end a relationship that is no longer working for you), work that magick during the waning moon.

Assuming you want to build wealth, work money magick during waxing moons.

If you’re looking for a new job or trying to start a new business, this is best done while working with the new beginnings energy of the new moon.

What Is the Best Moon Phase For Banishing Spells?

Banishing spells will always work best during the waning moon.

Start at the beginning of the waning moon cycle, and watch as the energy or situation you are banishing becomes weaker and finally leaves by the time the new moon arrives.

In my experience, banishing rituals are best followed up by a ritual to bring something new into your life.

That way, you don’t leave a void in your life that could be filled with more negative energy.

What Is the Best Moon Phase For Finding New Friends?

If you are looking for a new group of friends, work this magick during the new or waxing moon phases!

One ritual to do this is to choose a yellow candle for friendship. Light it for an hour every night, starting with the new moon.

After the hour is up, snuff the candle out. Don’t blow it out!

Do this through the waxing moon and stop at the full moon.

Don’t forget to put yourself out there! You’re unlikely to meet the new friends the universe has waiting for you if you’re stuck at home.
