I have designed my patterns to be done on a variety of fabric counts, in each item description I have put the dimensions as number of stitches rather than size in inches/centimetres

Obviously, I ask that no one re-sell my patterns or copy them but, you are putting hours of time and skill into stitching the final project and that is yours to do with what you wish, including selling.

I regularly receive questions asking why there are 2 symbols in one box, or what that triangle looking stitch is.

Those are called 3/4 stitches. They are fairly simple to do, but can be difficult to explain without and image. It is a half stitch (/) and instead of completing with another half stitch (\), you only go to the middle point of the box, making somewhat of a "y"

X - (full stitch) / - (half stitch) y - (3/4 stitch)

If there are 2 symbols in one box, some stitchers prefer to do one 3/4 in each color, and others prefer to do a 3/4 stitch of the main color in the area, and a 1/4 stitch (just finishing the last leg of the X) of the other color. Both ways work, although, I generally prefer two 3/4 for coverage reasons.
