The demon Bune is one of the most popular and beginner friendly demons to work with. She appears easily, works fast, and enjoys building a lasting relationship with the witches and occultists that choose to work with her.
Bune will present differently for every practitioner. She made it abundantly clear that I am refer to her as Duchess Bune, but you may experience her as a male or as something else entirely, like a three-headed dragon. You must work with a demon to develop a relationship, and each relationship is unique.
Beginner witches and modern occultists alike have been entranced by the powerful allure of demonolatry and Left Hand Path magick. But who is Duchess Bune among all 72 Ars Goetia demons? Who Is Duchess Bune?
Bune is a duke or duchess of Hell that often comes in the form of a dragon, a woman, or an androgynous person. She rules over 30 legions of demons and is best known for guiding the dead to your sacred space so they can be spoken to, as well as increasing one’s knowledge and wealth.
Original text from the Ars Goetia:
“The Twenty-sixth Spirit is Bune (or Bime). He is a Strong, Great and Mighty Duke. He appeareth in the form of a Dragon with three heads, one like a Dog, one like a Gryphon, and one like a Man. He speaketh with a high and comely Voice. He changeth the Place of the Dead, and causeth the Spirits which be under him to gather together upon your Sepulchres. He giveth Riches unto a Man, and maketh him Wise and Eloquent. He giveth true Answers unto Demands. And he governeth 30 Legions of Spirits. His Seal is this, unto the which he oweth Obedience.”
According to the Daemonolatry Goetia by S. Connolly, Bune will keep the peace between the practitioner and any spirits of the dead that have been channeled.
Bune, in my experience, is an extremely fast worker. I have asked her for mundane things like reducing my allergies (which she did near instantly) and for more spiritual things like guiding my eyes to find the information I need to delve into a religious mystery. She has always responded quickly and efficiently.
She also likes to build a strong bond with the witch/occultist before she begins working on their behalf. She does not want to just show up and start doing magic. She wants to know who you are, what you believe, and how she can help you.
I’ve found that she responds well to journaling. I will feel her questions pop up in my mind, and I will answer them in writing. This bonding exercise with Bune helps her to work with me and fulfill my wishes in a way that is true to what I would actually want, regardless of how I asked for it.
Unlike some other demons, Bune does deliver results honestly. She won’t turn your requests into curses by finding loopholes or ways to twist your desires. If you ask her to do something, she will do it.
Some see Bune as a deity of abundance, a draconic goddess of wealth and occult power. Goetic spirits may have once been regarded as deities, but they are accustomed to being seen as demons.
The Demonic Enn Of Bune
Words of Bune’s enn: Whlc melan avage Bune tasa
The demonic enn of Bune is a mantra that is used to help you connect to her demonic energies. Her enn can be used to more easily communicate with Bune.
An enn is a chant that can be used to attune your energies and vibrations to the frequency of demons. This act helps bring you into spiritual contact, almost like it’s establishing a line of communication between realms. When spoken aloud with precision, these incantations have great power, charging the atmosphere around them while also raising your own vibration level. Enns are not in any known language yet some words have been discerned; what we do know though is they certainly get results!
Enns are useful because they can be used to revere, honor and show respect when coupled with sigils. This type of magickal practice also helps empower any rituals or spells you might be performing in addition to other spiritual activities. However they don’t take the place of full-on invocation–for which a call mantra is much preferred since it draws power within yourself. Either way though an enn remains a powerful and effective tool for connecting with demons!
How Will Bune Present Herself?
As stated above, Bune will show herself in various forms. Masculine, feminine, androgynous, draconic, all of these are possibilities with this demon. Knowing that Bune is an ancient deity in tune with powerful energies, it makes sense why she would take multiple shapes.
Some see her as a plump middle aged, motherly woman with brownish-blonde hair. Others see her as a tall, masculine person with black hair. For me, she manifests as a figure cloaked entirely in red, as if a red ghost. She is sometimes accompanied by two snakes, and we often meet in a cold winter forest with not a single leaf on any of the trees.
Beneath her mysterious exterior lies an incredibly generous and passionate spirit, but don’t mistake that for weakness. She is still a powerful demon. She loves and advocates for her chosen ones, defends those she believes in without a moments thought.
These qualities of generosity and passion is what draws witches to work magic with this Duchess demoness. With Bune by our side we can draw forth successes related to abundance, cooking, vigilance, joy as well as any creative ventures such painting or writing which these energies help us pursue with clarity.
Does Duchess Or Duke Bune Want Offerings?
As with all demons, you should respond to a successful spell or wish granted with an offering. My favored way to offer to demons is to give them the experience of me enjoying something.
For Bune, I will often eat decadent chocolate, drink a fancy coffee, enjoy some “special herbs”, or have a cold shower. She also likes sweet red wine or sangria. Duchess Bune also appreciates anything creative and full of life; homemade soaps with herbs for color and fragrance, jigsaw puzzles made from exotic scenes around the world, music on a clarinet — all those things!
As I said above, I find the best demon offerings involve calling their spirit into you as you ingest or experience something. Demons do not get many chances to experience the sensations that we humans take for granted.
After an impressive success, I will prepare some delicious treats and gifts fit for a duchess including milk spiced with black pepper and cinnamon, honey roasted duck with orange, baked salmon with butter, trout or prawns as well as loaves of bread full of cheese – smoked cheeses are especially nice! Fruits like mangoes, coconuts, or apricot poached in syrup really feed this spirit too. Pumpkin dishes often become an offering during Halloween season.
What Does Bune Require From You?
If you are looking to work with the demoness Duchess Bune, there are certain things that she will require from you. These requirements come in the form of respect and loyalty. She expects respect and kindness from her chosen ones and wants them to be honest about their intentions before making a pact or asking for any favors.
Bune is also likely to ask questions about your beliefs as well as what type of results you expect when working with her magic – this shows that she respects each person’s unique perspective on life but also understands why they have asked for help in the first place! To create an effective relationship between practitioner and duchess it’s important not just follow along blindly; instead, take time to think about your own values and how they may affect the type of work you’ll be doing. Ultimately, Bune is looking for a long-term partnership with those who are willing to put in the effort!
What Is The Best Way To Work With Bune?
It’s best to approach Duchess Bune as an equal partner rather than someone you are asking favors from out of obligation, devotion, or desperation. She prefers when her chosen practitioners come prepared – that means researching what magickal methods she works well with so there can be open communication between both parties on any given project before results start appearing quickly (which is typical). Journaling also helps build up trust – answer any questions she may have and tell her about your goals in working with demons.
Another thing to keep in mind when engaging Bune is that she likes offerings! If you successfully manifest something then remember to always thank Duchess Bune by making an offering afterwards– this will ensure results continue being consistent moving forward too (as well as showing appreciation).
What Are Some Examples Of How Bune Works?
Duchess Bune is famous for her quick action and swift results – she’s generally considered the “Go-To” demoness when you need something done fast. She works with those who are looking to increase their wealth, knowledge, wisdom or eloquence – all qualities that come in very handy during any magickal practice!
Once when I asked her to take away my allergies because they were making me miserable, she did it within the hour! Her influence can be felt immediately but there are other instances where I had to utilize her help over a period of time before seeing results.
For example, Bune has assisted me in finding helpful information while researching specific topics and connecting with dead spirits during necromantic rituals (which she oversees).
What Should We Expect From Working With Bune?
When working with Duchess Bune you should expect an intense connection – because her energy is so strong she makes herself known quickly when summoned into your sacred space. She also likes being direct. She has a strong voice, and once you truly connect with her you will rarely be unsure about what is your thoughts vs what she has said to you.
Regardless of the task you are asking her to perform, Duchess Bune will always give it her all and make sure that what she has done is in alignment with your intentions. Although demon work may sound intimidating if you keep an open mind and cultivate a respectful relationship, as well as honoring any requests from the duchess, then things should go smoothly!
Bune is an incredible ally to have by your side in the magickal world and I can’t recommend her enough!
Bune And Necromancy
Necromancy is the practice of communicating with the dead using occult techniques. It is believed that the soul of a person can leave the body after death and travel to another world where it can interact with the spirit realm.
In order to contact the dead, practitioners use divination tools such as tarot cards, runes, bones, and crystals. These items are then used to call forth the spirit of the departed.
When working with Bune, she provides assistance in contacting the dead. She helps ensure that communication between the two realms remains positive and beneficial.
Bune is a benevolent spirit who aids necromancers in communicating with the dead. She is especially useful for helping you find ancestors who died without leaving behind a physical body, such as those lost in war. Bune will even aid you in identifying the location of these bodies if they are able to be found.
She is also known for being able to communicate with the deceased and offer advice to living people.
Bune And Wealth
Duchess Bune is known for her assistance in increasing wealth too – this could mean anything from helping increase material prosperity through getting more money out of a job promotion or even finding objects around the house which have been lost; all forms of money-related magic are within her grasp!
She can be invoked for any purpose where wealth is desired. She is especially helpful to farmers, merchants and craftsmen. She is also good for business owners, since she brings prosperity and success.
Bune And Wisdom
She can also help to increase wisdom and knowledge, giving you a better understanding of not just the magickal world but yourself too. Her guidance on personal growth is often sought out by many occultists because she knows how to make complex ideas simpler for us mortals who struggle with these concepts – Bune will offer gentle insight so that we may process our spiritual lessons in an easier way. She’s great at helping one develop their intuition which is invaluable when it comes time making decisions about what path should be taken next!
Bune And Eloquence
Finally, Duchess Bune is excellent at helping us increase our eloquence in all areas of life. Whether one needs to become a better public speaker or writer – she can help! With her assistance you’ll be more confident and sure when it comes time for important conversations because this demon will make sure your words are well-spoken every single time.
Conclusion

When one chooses her, they can expect swift results related to wealth, knowledge/wisdom, eloquence & necromancy – all while building up the experience of an equal partnership between duchess and practitioner alike! Simply remember show respect when communicating with this entity as well as make offerings afterwards for successful spells – then reap the benefits from this magickal team-up!
