Witch Affirmations That Work Quickly

When I first wrote about affirmations for witches, I was still pretty skeptical about them.

Witch Affirmations are simple phrases that are worded to be positive and in the present tense with the goal of making a witch feel empowered, happier, and witchier than ever. They use the Law of Attraction to boost the confidence of baby witches and expert witches alike.

A few years ago, I would have never considered using witch affirmations.

For a long time, I didn’t use affirmations at all. I just wasn’t into being a positive affirmations witch.

I’m a little ashamed to admit it, but I used to think of mantras as BS.

That’s right, even though I like to think I am the queen of woo, I am actually very skeptical at heart.

How could saying the same phrase to myself over and over again possibly help my life?

Mantras were boring, and stupid, and I refused to give them a chance.

That mindset continued even as I got into the law of attraction and started using mantras here or there.

I Was Setting Myself Up For Failure

Of course, anyone who knows anything about the law of attraction can see the problem there.

All of my negative skepticism was a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I’m not sure why I found affirmations so silly. Even as I saw other people succeeding with daily affirmations, I refused to use them.

Oh sure, I was into chants. I could set intentions with the best of them.

Those concepts made sense to me.

I had used chants and intentions extensively, ever since I was very young and began my journey as a witch.

I knew they worked.

But without ever really trying affirmations and mantras, I wrote them off as nonsense.

What a shame that was!

I could have been using these powerful phrases so much earlier in my life.

I sometimes think, sadly, about how different my life could be right now if I had just gave affirmations a chance.

Let this be a lesson to everyone reading: witches must go outside of their comfort zone.

If you want to be a witch, you have to be willing to try new things.

Affirmations are powerful, magick phrases.

And they can speak exactly what you want to manifest into existence.

Why You Should Use Affirmations As A Witch

The Law of Attraction has become quite well known over the past decade. Movies, books, and seminars have been informing a growing audience about the spiritual possibilities of working with the universe.

While it isn’t a recent phenomenon, every year, the Law of Attraction becomes more popular.

And for witches, this universal principle is also a basic part of spellwork.

When witches use thoughts to guide their spellwork, they are working with this simple principle.

The universe responds to how we think, feel, and act and sends more of what we are generating our way. For instance, when you think you are having a bad day, more of that bad stuff heads your way.

I don’t personally believe EVERYTHING that happens to us is because of our own thoughts and actions (we do interact with other people, after all, and they have the free will to help us or harm us).

But our thoughts do influence the world, and so we should be careful about what we think. Especially as witches, since we train ourselves to make even more of a psychic and energetic impact than others.

Including affirmations into your life is a simple task that can be done at any time. There’s no reason not to at least try using affirmations daily.

You can use affirmations in the car, at work, or while you take a shower. All it takes is a few seconds to repeat whatever mantra you are working on.

There is power in saying your mantra or affirmation out loud, but in sensitive situations, you can just think them to yourself.

Even though I was skeptical at first, I think everyone should give affirmations a try. It can become a spiritually satisfying part of your daily magical practice.

When To Use Affirmations

Okay, so when should you use affirmations?

There are many situations that can be improved by a mantra. And the Law of Attraction is easy to use at any time of day.

Essentially, when you need to ease anxiety or doubt, use a witch affirmation. Your negative self talk will be washed away by the positivity.

It may feel fake or weird at first. That’s okay. Just fake it until you make it! With witch affirmations, you will over time discover your natural confidence.

Affirmations are also useful in combatting depression and increasing your confidence.

Here are some times when you should use affirmations:

To Ease Spell Anxiety

One of the most powerful reasons to use witch affirmations is that they can ease any anxiety you might feel.

Whether it’s a situation or a spell, anxiety can only make things worse.

There is a concept in witchcraft, especially with sigils and chaos magick.

That concept is the “lust for results“.

It goes like this: If you are obsessed with your spell’s intention or end goal, you will never get what you are trying to manifest.

That obsession encourages the universe to put up road blocks.

Obviously, we don’t want that to happen.

To combat this lust for results, an affirmation can help us to remember that we create our own reality.

Letting go of that need for control over the outcomes of your magick will only make your magick stronger.

What you desire is what will be.

To Stop Doubting Your Magick

It’s natural to doubt your magick, but it isn’t helpful. That’s why you need to become a positive affirmations witch!

To combat this totally normal reaction, you can focus on mantras that affirm your magickal power.

You know that spell is going to work.

You know the universe is on your side.

So choose affirmations that remind yourself of that fact!

To Improve Your Mental Health

Affirmations can be an awesome part of your mental health practices.

Positive affirmations and mantras can help you to control negative feelings and put them into perspective.

Obviously they can’t replace therapy or medication, but they can become one of your healthy coping mechanisms.

A good positive affirmation can improve your self esteem and build up positive energy. Plus, they can help fight off witch burnout.

If your state of mind is negatively effecting your magick, the right mantra can fix that.

If you have a bad habit of smoking cigarettes, how can you expect your lungs to perform when you’re trying to become more fit?

If you have a bad habit of negative self-talk, how can you expect yourself to do more self care?

If you have a bad habit of doing spells and then not putting in any work, how can you expect your magick to be successful?

Mantras can help you to create good habits and stop bad habits before they get worse.

When you combine affirmations with meditation or other mindfulness practices, you can heal yourself and make your witchcraft more powerful.

These witch affirmations are perfect for witches that are unsure about their magickal abilities or need to boost their confidence before a spell.

Simply pick one that resonates with you and repeat it before a spell or whenever needed.

When you become a positive affirmations witch, you take control over the course of your life!

You don’t need some kind of Wiccan spell for affirmation.

All you need is your mind and some patience while you retain yourself and how you think!
